Exam Certificate Information
We still have uncollected certificates for students that attended New College Pontefract from 2015-2016. This documentation is essential for employment after education and often an essential requirement asked to be present for in interviews. Therefore, if you studied with us between 2015 and 2016, please come and collect proof of your qualifications and the employment process will be a lot smoother for you.
We will hold onto them until 30th September 2019; if certificates have still not been collected by this date, they will be confidentially destroyed as we are only obliged to hold certificates for a period of 12 months. After this date you will need to contact the exam boards directly and pay for a certifying statement of results, costing approximately £45 each. Please be aware that College will be closed from Monday 15th July to Monday 12th August.
How to collect your certificate
You can collect certificates in person between 8.30 – 4.00pm from Monday to Friday from main reception. When collecting certificates, you will require some photo identification to verify we are giving the correct results to the right person, so ensure you bring something with your photograph on.
Collecting on your behalf
If you are unable to collect certificates yourself, individuals nominated by yourself can collect them on your behalf. To do this, you need to email Reception@nclt.ac.uk providing your full name, date of birth, which courses you studied and the full name of the person you are authorising to collect the certificates. If you do not email, you can instead give them a note of authorisation, naming them as the authorised person, your name, date of birth and courses studied, and this must be signed by yourself. They will also need to bring some photo identification with them to verify that we are giving the certificate to the right person.
If you any queries regarding certificates or collection, please contact Alison Selby (Receptionist) via her email address: Alison.Selby@nclt.ac.uk
