What if you are unable to attend Results Day to collect your results in person?

Options…

  1. Leave a LARGE stamped addressed envelope (with a LARGE letter stamp) at reception or the Exams Officer (LAC3) with your ID number in the bottom left hand corner of the envelope, the subjects/levels you are expecting results for.  If you have Level 2 and Level 3 results, you will need to leave 2 envelopes if you wish them to be posted out ON the results day, or if only one is left, this will be posted on the later Level 2 results day with the Level 3 results included (Thursday 22 August).

  1. Authorise someone else to collect your results on your behalf.  We must receive this request in WRITING from you and the person authorised MUST bring their own photo ID.  You can send an email to exams@nclt.ac.uk BEFORE Results Day (please do not send on the day, as this won’t be seen).  You will need to state your student ID number (L or D number) name, date of birth, which level/subjects you are expecting results for and the full name of the person you are authorising to collect on your behalf.  This must be sent from YOUR email address (either college or a personal email address with your name in it).

  1. You can write a note, signed by yourself, containing the same information as mentioned in option 2, and the person collecting on your behalf must bring the note with them as well as their OWN photo ID.

We are unable to discuss results over the phone and we are unable to release any results by email.

Please remember: The results belong to the student – therefore without student written consent, we cannot release/discuss any results with parents/guardians or third party.  If a third party requests results without written consent from the student or photo ID, they will be unable to collect.  A text message or phone call from the student is NOT sufficient, therefore please ensure they do not have a wasted journey.

For any Reviews of Marking – there are three possible outcomes, a result/grade can increase, stay the same or decrease, therefore it MUST be the student who signs any consent forms, not parents/guardians/nominated person collecting results.

We would like to wish you all a fantastic summer and the very best of luck with your results and the future ahead.
