NEW College staff are wearing bright orange t-shirts all week to encourage students to start thinking about revision. They are printed with the slogan: “Revise Today, Star in Your Future Tomorrow”.
“Orange Week” kick-starts an intensive revision campaign which will help students to structure their revision, practise past papers, and prepare themselves physically and psychologically for the exam season.
Featured in the revision campaign are Easter workshops, regular motivational messages and revision tips screened around college, and the 10 Revision Commandments, a comprehensive list of revision and life management techniques. All of these are bringing staff and students together in preparing for exam season.
Principle Pauline Hagen says “This period is crucial for students in terms of their future goals and their progression plans. Getting a revision routine now establishes a structure and work habit which will help them at every stage in their lives.”
