New College Pontefract will be running a live “virtual” Open Evening on November 18th from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. The event will include presentations and live Q&A sessions with every subject area, as well as important other teams such as the Progress Tutors, study support, careers and the LRC.
“We are really looking forward to meeting parents and students from across the region,” said Vicky Marks, the college’s principal. “Every department will be able to answer questions live on the night. There will be a presentation from me and every team across college. We will also be launching a new website, with clickable walk-throughs of our site. It will genuinely be the closest thing to a real Open Evening you can get. We are all really looking forward to it!”.
A purpose-built website, carrying all of the new content with links through to every departments’ live Q&A chat, will be launching at the beginning of November. Check the college website and social media for details!
