College is currently closed to visitors and the Exams Staff are currently working from home – therefore is not possible to collect certificates until the college reopens
Under normal circumstances, Summer 2020 certificates would be available to collect from January 2021 onwards; however, following Government guidance, the college is currently closed and staff are working from home, therefore certificates cannot be collected or posted at the moment.
Further updates will be available by calling 01977 702139 or e-mailing exams@nclt.ac.uk.
However, in the interim, the following options are available to you:-
Option 1 – if you require results urgently
We can e-mail copies of results slips and/or BTEC confirmation report(s). In order for this to happen you need to e-mailexams@nclt.ac.uk attaching your photo ID (either scanned or a good photo) and state that you would like your results slip/confirmation report(s). Please confirm your full name, student reference number (if you remember it), date of birth, which subjects/levels you require evidence for and which year you left college.
Option 2 – if you can wait until a Wednesday (excluding half term week w/c 15 February)
We can e-mail scanned copies of your certificate(s). In order for this to happen you need to e-mail exams@nclt.ac.uk attaching your photo ID (either scanned or a good photo) on or before 11.30am on the Wednesday and state you would like your scanned certificate(s). Any requests received after this time will go on the list to be scanned on the next available Wednesday.
When the government lift their restrictions and you are able to collect certificates students will need to bring some photo ID. If unable to attend in person they can nominate another person to collect certificates on their behalf. The student must e-mail exams@nclt.ac.uk the details of this person and relationship to them, prior to this person arriving at college. The nominee should also bring their own photo ID with them. If you wish your certificates to be posted there is a charge of £5 UK, £8 Europe, £10 rest of world – all non-refundable – as the certificates are always posted by recorded delivery. Please ask for further details of how to pay for postage, when the college reopens.
The college is only obliged to keep certificates for 12 months. After this time they can be confidentially destroyed, but please do not worry, the college will still keep them for some time yet. If you have lost your certificates, please email exams@nclt.ac.uk and we can provide further details of how to obtain a certifying statement of results directly from the exam boards, but they will charge for this service.
Kind Regards
