Students at New College Pontefract had a great opportunity to learn and develop their skills when PhD students from the University of Leeds paid them a visit to present a STEM challenge. Y13 students studying both Maths and Science courses were treated to the guest lecture, and then presented with an engineering-themed challenge which was centred around developing their skillset for future growth. A big thank you to Leeds University for giving up their time, our students will really benefit from the afternoon.
