As part of the annual fundraising event, NEW College challenged its staff and students to row 4000m for BBC’s Children in Need.
The Senior Leadership Team, Pauline Hagen, Leon Riley and Richard Fletcher set the mark early on Thursday night with Richard achieving the best time of 16 minutes 1 second.
Head of PE Tom Shepherd topped the leader board early Friday morning with 14 minutes 45 seconds which was later beaten by student Jorge Richardson, with an impressive 14 minutes 30 seconds.
There was also a 1000m challenge won by Health and Safety manager Rob McKenzie and student Harry Warvil with the time of 3 minutes 17 seconds each.
As well as the rowing challenge students were encouraged to have fun and join in raising money for Children in Need with a trampoline and an inflatable obstacle course.
Over the course of the day NEW College raised £277.83.
