Pauline Hagen, Principal of NEW College Pontefract, has been invited to take part in an education fellowship commission next month, designed to help raise standards by improving the quality of leadership in schools and colleges across the country.
The fellowship commission will be made up of 20 National Leaders in Education, hand-picked by the National College for Teaching and Leadership, who will meet with representatives of the DfE in London.
“The group will explore innovative theory and practice in order to address pressing educational challenges,” said Pauline. “We need to ensure that all children, particularly in areas where change is most needed, are able to reap the rewards of high quality school-to-school improvement.”
Pauline Hagen was appointed a National Leader in Education earlier this year.
