New College Pontefract have been awarded gold certification by the Investors In People Group for being recognised as an on-going, dedicated and committed organisation.
The outstanding sixth form college, recently shortlisted for College of the Year by the TES, was recognised for commitment to continuous improvement, development and growth by the Investors in People.
Pauline Hagen, Principal for Pontefract New College, said: “This is a fantastic recognition to receive. I am very proud to be part of the hard working team here at New College. It is our job to ensure students have an outstanding college experience from transition to progression and achieve their personal best. I can happily say on behalf of the staff at New College how delighted we are at receiving this.”
