New College Pontefract have been ranked fifteenth in the “Top 100” institutions listed by from the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD).
The NCFD’s Grand Awards 2017 event was held this month and the outstanding sixth form college. The “Top 100” highlights the very best of the UK across organisations to celebrate commitment and excellence around equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Lauren Walker, Assistant Principal for Human Resources said: “This is a fantastic recognition and a tremendous achievement. I am very proud to be part of the hard working team here at New College, where we champion and are hugely committed to equality, diversity and fairness. On behalf of the staff at New College, I want to say how delighted we are at receiving this.”
Placement in the Top 100 is based on survey results completed during the past twelve months by all organisations undertaking the NCFD’s Investors and Leaders in Diversity assessments.
